So that I would write

I find myself struggling to put even a sentence down as I overthink on what this space should be, should do for me, should expose to others. Stuck, digging into tooling, planning out scripts, automation, anything except actually using it. Paralyzed by the thought that I would put something out there which does not belong or did not need to be written.

Except, I set this up so that I would write.

The manual for Smol Pub puts it well, this is "Your journal on the small internet." But what about my life or experience is worth sharing? What am I putting out into the world that has merit to be consumed by anyone else? I barely write in my own physical journal, why would I write anything here?

Except, I set this up so that I would write.

So, write is what I will try to do. I named it Ambling Through Life as my goal is to slow down and enjoy the experiences I have with my family, friends, and community. Disconnect more from the technology that has taken over my life, the stress from fifteen years of a 9-5 job, and embody the wisdom of "touch grass." Take advantage of the time I do have to grow core memories with my kids and set them up for a good, healthy life before I let the time run past.

I set this up so that I would write, and hopefully have something worth remembering.
